Yeah, buying the party pack is the only way to play local multiplayer in burnout paradise.. I own burnout paradise on the 360 but no local multiplayer on that, and we own an xbox one but it's the same story with the new forza horizon 2. we've had to resort to need for speed underground for the original xbox, and while it is a great game, it's a little hard on the eyes playing an old standard def xbox game on a 50" 1080p screen.. So about a year later they released the party pack which is their offline multiplayer. in other words, i still can't play races & road rages against my local friends. the graphic/framerate thing is simply a lame excuse..
